What is CMS?

CMS stands for Content Management System which means a system that allows users to perform content management. Content that is meant here is the content within the context of Website / Portal. With this software, a user can modify / manipulate and many others without any experience in coding to create that system. In other word, CMS is just like template in which we can modify this template, without making it from scratch.

With the CMS, you just need to use the basic level of PHP programming language, CSS basic level and other. Some jobs that used to create a website done in a few years, but right now just as quickly reverse palm of your hand. CMS frequently used by companies, organizations, businesses and communities to create a website, portal, photo galleries, e‐commerce applications and many more. CMS also has different types and functions different. This is a common CMS and widely used by the user as a separate tool.

1. Joomla
Joomla is a CMS (content management system) is the most common and most widely used. Joomla was given in standard forms that can be changed by the configuration according to user desire.

2. Prestashop
Prestashop is a framework that is designed for standard websites that serve as E‐Commerce in an organization / company / institutions. It is suitable for products with a lot of number manufacture.

3. Magento
It is also a standard framework designed for ECommerce in a company / agency / organization
concerned. Graphically better than Joomla! and PrestaShop. However, Magento is not recommended by the user who is still in experimental/beginner stages.

4. OSCommerce
Almost the same as Magento, only recommended for users who have in‐depth understanding of web programming language.
